The Ambassador Trek our Omaha Dream Team has set out to lead is a very large goal and one that has never been done by citizens from our state of Nebraska but we accept this challenge not because it is easy but because it is needed and because it is hard.  Anything worth having requires much work and if you believe in something, if you want something, something that gives your life special meaning and that you’ve never had before then you’ve got to be willing to do some things that you’ve never done before.  New goals are accompanied by new obstacles and require new dedication to ensure our visions are brought to fruition. 

I believe in this Ambassador Trek Program.  I believe in the good that will be done when Omaha youth travel to Mali and do something they’ve never done before; build a school to help educate others.   Because I believe in this cause I’m willing to put my body on the line in a number of fitness challenges being offered in 2011 as a way of raising public awareness and funds needed to make this a success.
